Sharing personal anecdotes—from experimenting with business ideas during his own school years to stories of students who began learning skills early—he highlighted the importance of action over hesitation. He urged students to follow their passions, remain curious, and not become overly dependent on certifications, stressing that skills, mindset, and adaptability matter far more in the long run.

Speaking about innovation and India’s future, Mr. Kapoor said:

“It is my dream to see Indian innovation take a central place globally. For that, we need a complete ecosystem—where ideas are nurtured based on their viability and companies actively adopt young innovators into their systems. It must be a win–win for industry and students alike.”

He also shared how SXILL actively collaborates with local industries and original equipment manufacturers, helping them improve product design and innovation processes. SXILL remains open to working even with peer institutions and competitors to scale innovation methodologies across universities and training institutes.

SXILL alumni today are working with and leading projects at organizations such as Ericsson, Sony, Yatra.com, Gaana.com, directing popular animated shows like “Motu Patlu”, collaborating with independent artists, and founding successful IT companies including Intelligaia, Trabug, and Creative Peppers.

Vineet Raj Kapoor’s global engagement spans World Design Organization-backed events, WorldSkills competitions, Smart India Hackathon, BRICS Future Skills, Eurasian Future Skills, and multiple international conferences across Russia and Europe, reinforcing SXILL’s strong global footprint.

Adding to this, Neelu Kapoor, Founder of SXILL and National Jury Member for IndiaSkills (Graphic Design), shared that SXILL offers a “Design Your Own Curriculum” model aligned with the National Education Policy, along with SXILLUP, a world-class finishing school for animation and design graduates.

Backed by leading studios such as Lakshya Digital, Digitoonz, Green Gold (Chhota Bheem), Technicolor, and others, SXILL students consistently win international recognitions including 11 Second Club and GO48—a testament to the institution’s focus on outcomes, not just education.
