SXILL’s commitment to the “Skill India” mission reached a new milestone as our founder, Vineet Raj Kapoor, served as the Chief Expert for Industrial Design Technology (IDT) at the IndiaSkills Regional (South) Competition 2025-26. Held from 21st to 24th February 2026 at the serene Kanha Shanti Vanam in Hyderabad, the event was organized by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
Leading a team of elite jurors, Vineet Raj Kapoor ensured that the technical assessment was aligned with WorldSkills International standards.
The quality of industrial prototypes and design-thinking modules presented by the competitors was exceptional, resulting in an incredibly close finish. As Chief Expert, Vineet Raj Kapoor extended his heartfelt congratulations to the winners as they prepare for the IndiaSkills Nationals and the upcoming WorldSkills Shanghai.
Rudhra Jawahar . from Tamil Nadu (Gold), Aishwarya Ajith from Karnataka (Silver), and Chandan B from Karnataka (Bronze) claim medals in Industrial Design Technology at the Indiaskills 2025–26 Regional Competition (Southern Region).
To those who didn’t podium this time, the message was clear: stay focused on WorldSkills Japan 2028, as the talent displayed was undeniably world-class.
A special note of recognition goes to the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) for producing the maximum number of champions in the South India Regionals—a testament to the state’s growing design prowess.
