The roundtable session, titled “RICS for BRICS: Building New Products for the Global Majority”, brought together representatives from 20 participating nations, including leaders from animation studios, creative enterprises, and government bodies. During the discussion, Vineet Raj Kapoor represented India’s perspective, highlighting the cultural and creative common ground shared by BRICS nations. He emphasized that these countries share lived realities, social contexts, and storytelling traditions—and that collaboration should focus on building authentic stories rooted in real human experiences and real-world challenges.

In a lighter yet meaningful moment, he noted how all BRICS nations are “chai nations”, sharing a common cultural thread—symbolizing the deeper similarities that can form the foundation for long-term creative partnerships. The discussion concluded with a collective intent among participants to work together to address shared challenges and co-create globally relevant narratives.

The RICS International Conference on Creative Economies serves as a significant global forum, fostering dialogue between creative industries, policy makers, and educators, and enabling cooperation between nations shaping the future of animation, design, and storytelling.

Further strengthening SXILL’s global standing, Neelu Kapoor, Founder of SXILL and IndiaSkills Graphic Design Technology Jury member, acknowledged Business Awards (UK) for recognizing SXILL as the Best Animation and Post Production Studio 2024 – India. This international recognition reflects global acceptance of the SXILL brand and supports its mission to provide high-quality, value-driven education, helping students across Asia, Europe, and America overcome the financial barriers of creative education.

Through such global engagements, SXILL and Chandigarh Design School continue to amplify India’s voice in international creative dialogue, shaping collaborative futures in animation and creative economies.
