The IndiaSkills East Regional Competition serves as a vital scouting ground for the nation’s most promising technical talent. This year, SXILL’s influence on the national stage was further solidified as our founder, Vineet Raj Kapoor, successfully completed his tenure as the Chief Expert for Industrial Design Technology (IDT) for the Eastern region.

Organized by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), the competition held in the East showcased a surge in innovation from states like Odisha and Bihar. As Chief Expert, Vineet Raj Kapoor was responsible for:

• Standardizing Evaluation: Aligning regional judging criteria with international WorldSkills benchmarks.

• Technical Oversight: Managing the workflow for CAD (Computer-Aided Design), 3D rendering, and physical prototyping modules.

• Mentorship: Guiding the jury to identify designers who balance aesthetic form with manufacturable function.

The East Regionals proved that Indian youth are ready to compete on a global scale. SXILL’s leadership in these events ensures that our own students are trained using the exact same world-class standards used to judge the nation’s best.
