The IndiaSkills North Regional Competition, recently concluded in the historic city of Agra, served as a high-pressure proving ground for the next generation of digital creators. Ensuring the technical integrity of the Digital Interactive Media Design (DIMD) category was SXILL’s own Master Mentor, Jasjeet Singh, who served with distinction as a Jury Expert.

In the world of UI/UX Design, evaluation went far beyond mere aesthetics. As a Jury Expert, Jasjeet Singh was responsible for auditing the competitors’ workflows, which included:
-
UX Logic & Research: Assessing the depth of user personas and the efficiency of wireframe architectures.
-
UI Precision: Evaluating typography choices, grid system adherence, and interactive consistency across prototypes.
-
Technical Compliance: Ensuring that final outputs met the rigorous WorldSkills standards for accessibility and mobile responsiveness.
Jasjeet’s involvement in Agra reinforced the SXILL philosophy: to be the best, one must be judged by the best. By actively shaping the standards of this national-level competition, our mentors have brought back invaluable insights that are already being integrated into our advanced design curriculum.
